Running A Livestream

Introduction

Running the livestream requires you to connect your EZWebPlayer to your livestreaming application (app) or program. On these WIKI pages below, you will be introduced to several common streaming applications. Choose one and get started with the step by step instructions. NOTE: A Word About Video Production

Technically, there are two types of livestreams; A) Single camera and sound source, B) Studio with multiple inputs.

1. At its most basic level, a livestream conveys the signal from a camera and microphone.
2. More complexed livestreams funnel the signals from multiple cameras and microphones along with just about anything else that you can bring up on your computer desktop. The livestreaming app is that mini TV studio that brings it all together before putting it all up in The Internet.

All you need to know is that when you are setting up your livestream, anything that shows up in the “source” or “input” menu of the streaming app is technically viable for a livestream signal. So, any auxiliary device that you plug into your computer should show up in a menu, like a camera, a media switching device, a mic, or a soundboard. Hence, a livestream can broadcast several camera sources and multiple audio sources like speaking dialogue or prerecorded or live music, or photographs from a folder on your computer or mobile device.
